I am working to gather original historic photos of St.Thomas, ON for a branch of TD Bank being constructed at 1063 Talbot Street St.Thomas, ON. I’m looking for pre-1960s photos that capture the spirit of the town, and preferably feature people or vehicles that lend a sense of time to the image. One photo will be selected, colorized and then enlarged to wall size. It will include a plaque with photo credit. The bank would be happy to pay for photo usage or make a donation to your organization for your help in this regard.
I was able to find some images on your website at http://myheritagesite.com/. Do you have these original photographs in your collection that could be scanned to 1200 dpi if chosen to be used in the Mural? Please let me know if you can help me.

I found Harman Shafer’s father David Shaffer in the Harris Prairie Twp. Cemetery off Adams Rd. east of Fir Rd. Granger, ind. St. Joseph co.,Ind. . Harman and Eliza Schmachtenberger along with other Schmachtenbergers are buried on Miami Rd. in Lambsettlement Cemetery Union Twp. St. Joseph co. Ind.. Harman changed the spelling of Shaffer to Shafer because there were two families in Harris Twp. with the same spelling and they would get the two families mixed up as the story goes. Check ancestry for Shafer family tree. Check To Find a Grave for all names and tomb pictures, also Check Southlawn Cemetery in Centre twp. St. Joseph Co. Ind for the other Shafers.
