 Rites Held for Richard C. Palmer Richard C. Palmer, age 65, of Drakes Branch, died Sunday, December 12, 1993. He was a retired farmer and owner of Palmer’s Store in Ontario. He is survived by one son, Kenneth R. Palmer of Hopewell; two daughters, Connie Lawson of Drakes Branch and Janet P. Ellis of Wilson, N.C.; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Geraldine P. Bailey and Mary P. Townsend, both of Keysville. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 14, at the Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, with interment in Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery.
