MRS. ELEANOR BILLINGS LIVED HERE FORTY YEARS

An old and respected resident of the city passed away last evening in the person of Mrs. Eleanor Billings, at her home, corner of Isabel and Victoria streets. Mrs. Billings, who was born in Fairfield, New York State, and was 89 years of age, had resided in Canada 74 years, 40 years of which time she spent in St.Thomas. She was the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by two sons, William Lodge and A. Billings, of this city. The funeral takes place on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. to the Old English church burying ground. Rev. Archdeacon Hill will conduct the services.
