Giles and Mary were married in 1850. This child "Theora" was born in 1845-6. Shadrach was born in Oct 1845. I always assumed that this was a single Edward and these children were Giles's. Now I believe that this could be Shedra--. I cannot find him in England or Canada in 1851. His name has been Cedric, Shadrack, Shadrach, etc. I hand transcribed "theora" - check this record again...

Hi Katherine ...We dont waist any time here...lol....On Checking my 1861 I note that Leah is only 8 so she will not be in the 1851 census.....Laura is 12 in 1861 and born in St Breward so she should be there. Not a big parish so have just been through it again. Now There is an entry that may be it but my scan is very hard to read...Did Notice other Billings last trawl but missed this one as the B and I are very faded...also of interest is it is Penquite and only 3 pages before Catherine!!!....I cant read the first letter of the name sort of looks like a really big D as the next letter only starts under the A of Eliza ..... but the rest appears to be aura/aina

In 1871 Shedric lived with wife Matilda and son William. If he was 25, then William must have been approx. 0-7 years old, born 1864-1871. The William in the St. Thomas cemetery died 29 Aug 1872 and was 2 1/2 years old, so born in early 1871. The age information on the census is illegible.
